UX & Product Designer

hey, i’m alissa!

Currently, I’m a rising senior studying Computer Science & Design at Northeastern University from Boston, MA , and I’m drawn to product roles that sit close to both the build and the people using it.

I chose this path for two reasons: (1) I'm drawn to the decisions behind what gets built and why, and (2) I'm endlessly curious about how people think, behave, and struggle with the products put in front of them.

While to some this may sound contradictory, I truly believe the best product decisions come from understanding both the tradeoffs and the user. The products that win aren't the ones with the most features; they're the ones where someone made the right call about what to build, what to skip, and why.

That belief is what draws me to product management specifically. It sits right at the intersection of strategy and empathy and I want to spend my career making sure those two things stay in conversation with each other.
